High Priest Albyn Tyodor

Chaplain in Lord Morn's Cabinet, Devout of Torm
Albyn Tyodor is a preacher in the Church of Torm, and supported Lord Morn during his guerrilla action. He has dark hair and wears a neatly-groomed mustache tight to his upper lip. The group first met with High Priest Albyn in Lord Morn's citadel, where he reviewed some of the machinations of the Zhentarim -- and especially information on the politics of their patron deities: Bane, Lord of Darkness; Iyachtu Xvim, the Godson; and Cyric, Lord of Lies.

Duraman

Goblin King of Felzenheim
Duraman is one fat goblin. He is typically surrounded by bodyguards who are as large among their kin as soldier ants are among theirs. Duraman wears a suit of shining mithril armor, the origin of which is unclear. He is quick to laugh, and generally of good spirits for a goblin -- perhaps owing to his having found a territory and purpose free from goblin competition. The group appeased the goblin king at first by slaying an ettin that threatened his kingdom, and then by deposing Ristakki after he burnt-to-death many of the king's daughter wives in the dwarven furnaces. The king was under the impression the party were men from his vision. Ristakki, by contrast, had contended that they were two foretold groups of men and that the party completed their role in the visions when they planted the egg in its pedestal in the furnace-activation chamber.

Festim

Deepcut healer and woodsman
Festim picked up the unconscious guard at the east gate the night of Hoseph's murder. Festim also healed the group after their encounter with the shadows. He likes to brew his potions with a little kick -- allegedly to ward away people who come to bother him for one too often.

Freli

Hoseph's orphan
Son of the murdered blacksmith, Hoseph, Freli is a dab-hand with a sling. Mostly sullen with grief from his father's death, Freli has a selective taste for danger and an interest in the ladies -- though he is only around 14. After his father's death, Freli was destined to live with his aunt, Rubyem, but fate would have it another way. Freli informed the party early on that Rubyem once had a Zhent fiance.

Finregan

Deepcut mayor
Finregan was first encountered on his knees outside of the stables, in shock over the  spectacle of Hoseph's murder inside. He quickly ordered the gates closed, prohibiting anyone from entering or leaving Deepcut. Later, Yessica petitioned him to open the gates after the party made inroads to investigate Hoseph's murder, and pledged to accompany Yessica to Lord Morn.

Graal and Sturk

Jierdaan's Bodyguards
Two muscular orcs with what seems to be some level of human blood in their makeup. They were first seen dressed in sleeveless chainmail and worn leather trousers. Upon their arms were tribal-looking tattoos. While all orcs look similar to those less acquainted, these two look very alike even to those familiar -- and the resemblance it's echoed down to the mirroring of their garb and the patterns they've tattooed on their skin. The party witnessed them bludgeon to death a Priest of Cyric with their bare hands, before disposing of his unconscious form somewhere unseen.

Graal and Sturk were later encountered in Felzenheim upon the party's exit from the complex. They were locked in combat with an animated statue to the complex. In this battle, Sturk was slain. His brother escaped with his corpse.

Gregor

Guard
The south-gate guard at Deepcut, who let the group into the palisade for the first time -- when the palisade was designed to deter goblins, and not men.

Mistress Ghislaine

Owner of the Turnfork Inn
The Mistress of Ceremonies at the Turnfork Inn, Ghislaine was first met wearing a purple gown with black lace. She artfully wielded a fan about her person to ward off the heat, and has a definite air of professionalism as hostess. She was obviously a beauty in her day, but her face is now lined and her hair dyed artificially black in color. She professes to have maintained neutrality during the Zhentarim occupation and Lord Morn's reclamation of these lands, and is in charge of The Purple Tunics, who guard the inn and oversee its 'no weapons' allowed policy.

Sir Haemish Trig

Lord Morn's Hedge Wizard

While a hedge wizard, Haemish has acquired no little power through his support of Morn. A natural mental talent in understanding how to wield the arcane, he developed many of his skills during Lord Morn's guerrilla action. He wears a simple brown robe, and his hair is a sagely black-grey. An impressive bushy beard sprouts from his jawline. The party first met Haemish at Lord Morn's citadel, where he demonstrated his powers in helping dispatch the cupbearer assassin with a well-aimed scorching ray. He was instrumental in briefing the party on what the items from Rubyem's house were, and in interrogating Rubyem to understand the meaning of her designs.

Jierdaan

Bad man from the East
An athletic man in a black cloak, this imperious-looking fellow has handsome features. Cleanshaven and almost baby-faced, he has long dark hark that falls loosely around his shoulders. He wears an expensive-looking armor with steel paldrons, and a molded breast plate that is dark blue in color, and glossed. Shining metal inlays glitter like flames.  He holds his head high as if balancing an invisible crown. The party met Jierdaan at the Turnfork Inn, where he commanded his companions to slaughter a Priest of Cyric. Twelve alleged he was a representative of "bad men from the East", and in contact with his sibling, Seven.

Johnson

Guard
Johnson was the east-gate guard the night that the murder happened in Deepcut. He was last seen under the care of Festim, with a bloodied white bandage around his brow.

Kellan Luck

Apprentice

Kellan is a black-haired, brown-robed apprentice to Sir Haemish Trig, Morn's Hedge Wizard. He was first assigned to accompany the party to the abandoned fortress in the Desertsmouth mountains.  Kellan was put in charge of a healing wand, which he guarded jealously. On the journey to the fortress, he seemed to go from the memory of something he had learned in a book. When searching for a road marker in the woods, he was encoiled by a snake, and crushed unconscious -- the party rescued him.

Sir Norton Hangrule

High Constable

Norton is a man accustomed to giving Lord Morn sensitive intelligence briefings from his network in the Daggerdale. His network comprises men and women of office, like Yessica of Deepcut, as well as potentially many secret persons posted around the land (and perhaps beyond). He is shorter than the military men in Morn's entourage and slightly rotund, with a belly. He sports a green-and-brown tunic, and a short dagger is usually at his hip.  He has small, curious eyes.

Lord Randal Morn

True heir and ruler of Daggerdale

While now ageing, Lord Randal Morn cuts an imposing frame, with broad shoulders and a height of over six feet. He fought against the Zhentarim in guerrilla action for some decades until rightfully reclaiming his seat at Daggerfalls in DR 1369. He wears long white mustaches and a beard, and is both handsome and charismatic , able to rally men to his cause in spite of difficult odds.  The party first gained an audience with Lord Morn via Yessica, after reporting-back on events at Deepcut (Hoseph's murder) and the Turnfork Inn (the appearance of Jierdaan). Lord Morn's coffers do not appear to be overflowing, given his reliance on promissory notes to reward the party.

Ristakki

Left-hand man to the goblin king

Ristakki is a goblin of the desertsmouth mountains, encountered in the "abandoned" dwarven fortress of Felzenheim. Ristakki claimed to be the left-hand man of the goblin king. His tribe prize both spiders and snakes, and are typically adorned with evidence of each, and armored in plates of spider chitin. Like many goblins, Ristakki has a small face filled with sharp teeth and small black eyes. Ristakki was found under the sleeping Yaggle Daggle (an ettin, see below) -- he was being used as some kind of perverse teddy-bear.

Ristakki eventually introduced the party to the Goblin King of Felzenheim. He was slain after a sequence of events which he instigated. He caused the deaths of many goblins in the fortress furnaces after advising the party on how to activate them. Prior to his death, Ristakki claimed to have visions from Magubliyet that competed with those of the shaman, Shadrat.

Rubyem

Occult wizardess

A resident of Daggerfalls, Rubyem is the aunt of Freli. Freli objected to being placed with Rubyem after his father's death. Among the many reasons, one of them was that Rubyem had a Zhent fiance during the occupation. When the party found Rubyem, she attacked them as they ventured too deeply into her laboratories. The party found many items of the occult in her possession, including several powerful artifacts as well as the more insidious black rock. Rubyem was rendered unconscious and imprisoned by the authorities of Lord Morn, whose agents were to look after her interrogation.

Shadrat

Shaman to Lord Duraman of the Felzenheim Fortress

Shadrat wields a rough wooden staff topped with a goblin skull, and with strips of goblin skin that 'papier mache' the skull to the shaft. He was first encountered as the group tried to enter the goblin kingdom prior to slaying the ettin -- at that moment, the group's only sign of Shadrat were the firebolts he sent hurtling down the stairs at them. Later, Shadrat revealed details of visions he had received from Magubliyet, including that the group would help activate the orrery, and which would foretell of an astronomical/planetary alignment. Shadrat and Ristakki apparently had competing visions and political perspectives: Shadrat was quick to cast a firebolt at Ristakki after the furnace incident.

Sturk [Deceased]

See entry for Graal and Sturk.

Tomasz
Innkeeper of Deepcut's Honorable Hound
Tomasz is a rotund man with a jolly attitude and a love of "Goldleaf Mead", something he purports to be brewed from a delicacy made in Deepcut. The party tasted this Mead, and found it horrible -- it seemed like a brewing experiment gone awry. Tomasz was grateful to the party after they vanquished a troupe of bandits who had ambushed his last consignment of ale on the road.

Twelve

Shapeshifted and Agent
"Twelve" is a shapeshifter with a childish manner, and who often drops pronouns when speaking. He alleges his preferred form is that of a scraggly youth, and curiously he claims he has only two years of memory. The party first saw Twelve before the bandit ambush at Deepcut, but later found and confronted him at the Turnfork Inn. He professed to being one of 12 related agents embedded in the Dale Lands and sponsored by "bad men from the East", and that he personally had set up multiple ambushes on the roads, including one involving the party. Twelve sought protection from the party, and liberation from his line of work -- indeed, he suspected he was likely to eventually die in the course of his duties. He indicated he could not run away, as the bad men from the East had apparently killed others who had deserted their work.  Twelve was last seen posing innocently in the second room of the Turnfork, watching over Rania and Kelnor as they prepared for the arrival of Jierdaan. There was no sign of him after that.

Yaggle Daggle [Deceased]

Free roaming ettin
A two-headed giant encountered in the so-called "abandoned" dwarven fortress of Felsenheim. Yaggle Daggle was first encountered indirectly, as the party noticed his tracks at the threshold of the fortress, as well as damage he left to the fortress architecture in his wake. Eventually, the group stumbled upon him sleeping in the goblin mushroom farm, with a suspicious trail of goblin bodies leading the way there. Yaggle Daggle was quickly dispatched by force after being woken. (The party had originally intended to trap him to the floor using Kelnor's immovable rods.)

Yessica

Deepcut Sheriff
Yessica is a handsome woman and a great shot with a longbow. To wield such a weapon, she must have no insignificant strength. She seems overall a competent fighter, and holds her nerve well in combat. Yessica has indicated she is part of a network of Sheriffs across settlements in the Daggerdale, and who are charged with reporting-back to Lord Morn of any suspicious disturbances. She wears her hair tied back in a pony tail, has dark brown eyes, and an athletic build. Her jaw is quite square -- which is why she seems handsome if not pretty.
